Goodbye Sidney

This has nothing to do with the Lightning, but more to do with my insane level of hatred that I have for Sidney Crosby.

While rooting for the Canadiens is normally akin to sticking my head into a pile of dog throw up, I have to say, I was rooting for the Halak’s to beat the Penguins bad, not just last night but all series.  Why would I root for the gross Habs (even though by doing so, I was forced to stab myself in the eyes each night with an old fork), because I hate Sidney Crosby that much.

Everything about him I hate.  I hate his gay little playoff “beard,” his stupid voice, and even for a guy who is so damned good, I don’t even like watching him play, thats how high my level of disdain runs for Sidney Crosby.  I never really liked the guy before the Olympics started, but I’m sure his crushing of my dreams with that OT goal in the gold medal game vs the USA cemented my hatred.

So I must say, tip of the cap to my man Jaroslav Halak (who I’ve always liked…remember I picked the Slovaks to be my Olympic sleeper and it was because of him) for taking out my most hated athlete.

To Sid, thanks for your 3 points and you 0 +/- rating during the Habs/Pens series, it made sure I wouldn’t have to watch you play anymore this season.  Grazi!

I’m doing this out of pity and I don’t want you to look like a bigger idiot than you already do by posting this pathetic rant/tantrum (whatever you want to call it). Sid had 5 points in the series, so please do your research properly :) And secondly I do sympathize with your feelings purely caused by jealousy, for whichever of your teams he beat, but seriously you hate because of his “play – off beard” and “gay voice”? Get your hand of you **** and do something useful in life.
