Around The League In 30 Days: Boston

Seventeen minutes and thirty-three seconds… that’s all that stood between our Lightning and a 1-0 loss to the home-team Bruins in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals. We all know what happened, and we all know how empty we felt when the final horn sounded. I would’ve preferred a 7-0 drubbing over a 1-0 Game 7 loss, but history is history.

Now, Tampa looks to face off against the Bruins four times in the 2011-12 season, and the earliest game is October 8! No doubt both teams will be banging at all cylinders, but I’m hoping we see for a 4-0 season series sweep. It’s a long way to go until the final game against Boston in March 2012, but with a little over a month to go before the first in the series… let’s take a look at Steve Kendall’s heavily weighted opinion here.

And, don’t forget to check back each day this month as FanSided takes you on a tour of each team during our 30-in-30. Next up: the Buffalo Sabres.
