The game we love, they lived. And, now we as a community of fans, members of a family that runs deeper than rivalries and nationalities, remember them. The tragic loss is stunning, and one can only imagine the grief felt by those who were closest to these men. They were friends, fathers, sons, and brothers, and they were hockey players, coaches, and aviators. We remember them because we feel the loss so personally, and we remember them because they are a part of our family; our “hockey family”.
Please, join FanSided Sports Network and Bolts By The Bay as we remember and honor these lost souls tomorrow at 9AM. We will be posting a Twitter-wide Moment Of Silence #KHLMomentofSilence at exactly 9AM to salute these men.
