Canada’s Connolly Keeps His Pace

Team Canada’s Brett Connolly, on loan from the Tampa Bay Lightning,  rallied two more points Thursday night as Canada  celebrated another blow out victory, beating Denmark 10-2.

Connolly netted a goal in Canada’s first game against Finland and he did the same Wednesday night when Canada played the Czech Republic. Connolly kept up the pace going into the game against Denmark, adding an assist and a short-handed goal to his IIHF statistics (the short-handed goal was one of two for Canada against Denamrk).

Connolly’s stats for the tournament now improve to two goals, two assists, a plus-one rating, and a team leading shooting percentage of 50 per cent.

Team Canada will play team USA on Saturday night.
