McDonald’s Ticket Office Ribbon Cutting, Morning Skate, And More

Another piece to the $40 million renovations to the Tampa Bay Times Forum is about to be completed tomorrow. The McDonald’s ticket office will be opening it’s doors at 9am tomorrow, Thursday, March 15. The first 500 fans in the door will be given a complimentary ticket to the AFL’s Tampa Bay Storm home opener against the Georgia Force on Friday, March 16th. Every customer who purchases a ticket between 9am and 4pm in the new office will receive a $10 off of merchandise coupon to be used in the Tampa Bay Sports retail store.
The Metro PCS Client Services Lounge will also be opening on Thursday. The lounge is an exclusive area for season ticket members to visit during the hours of 9-5, Monday through Friday. On Lightning game days the lounge will be open from 9am to the end of the 2nd intermission and from 9am to half time on Storm days. It can be found to the left of the staircase in the ticket office, in the Northwest corner past the ADA elevator.
620 WDAE’s Ron & Ian Morning Show will be live from 9am to noon at the ticket office. Fans are welcome to stay for the pregame morning skate, doors open at 10am.
Standing room only tickets for Thursday’s sold out game will be sold for $49.75. There is a limit of 2 per person.
At 2pm, the first 200 fans will have the opportunity to buy the best available tickets for the March 19th game where the Lightning host The Buffalo Sabres, and the March 22nd game vs the Edmonton Oilers, starting at just $25 a ticket. This excludes VIP seating and there is a limit of 4 per person. This is only while supplies last.
The President of McDonald’s restaurants of Tampa Bay, Stu Brown, will take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30pm to officially open the ticket office.
At 6pm when the doors open, fans will be able to shop for the first time in the new Tampa Bay Sports retail store. They will also have the chance to save up to 50% on upcoming shows at the Times Forum, including Def Leppard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen, Rammstein, 98Rockfest and Neil Diamond.
