I hope that everyone had as wonderful of an Independence Day as I did, and I would like to take a moment to thank all of those who serve in the military for allowing us to keep our freedom. I’m just coming back from a wonderful 4th Of July mini family vacation, away from computers, the phone, work, life… just some great time with the Gulf Of Mexico and other wonderful Americans who did the same. One of the benefits of living here in ‘Hockey Paradise’ is that we have amazing beaches on either coast, several within an hour’s drive.
I chose not to go to Development Camp this year, as family is so important and we had the opportunity to spend time together. There has been some concern, as usually I’m a fixture at Lightning events and posting on Twitter and Facebook constantly about them. I appreciate the concern! But I assure everyone that I am ok. I haven’t been kidnapped by aliens or dragged off to a foreign country against my will. I remain in this amazing country, with the freedom (Thanks to our brave military) to write about hockey!! So let me get back to that. I am launching the series of  fan interviews that I mentioned before, I’ll be going over our new signings and a have a few other things in store that I think you’ll find of interest. Please feel free to send me a Tweet if you have any Lightning or hockey related questions that you would like to ask! @HulaDolly Or you can email me at [email protected]

Just Another Day In Hockey Paradise,
Dolly
