On Saturday, August 25th beginning at 4:30pm at Copper Bell Cafe in Riverview Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Guy Boucher will  help cook and serve food at the 3rd annual Cooking For A Cause event to support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The even will be sponsored by Bright House Networks and PNC Bank.

Coach Boucher will assist the cooks, prepare food, and serve to the guests attending the event. It’s a buffet dinner that will include a variety of things, including carved roast beef, roasted chicken, pork medallions, potatoes au gratin, green beans, mac and cheese, Caesar salad, strawberry feta salad, coleslaw, dinner rolls and dessert. You can purchase tickets to the dinner for $15.95 for adults and $8.95 for children under 12 years old. All proceeds and gratuities will be going to charity.  If you’re  looking to purchase tickets, you can call the Copper Bell Cafe directly at 813-671-1100.

“I am very excited to be ‘Cooking for a Cause’ this weekend,” Boucher said. “Breast cancer is a horrible disease that touches so many of us and I am pleased to be able to help raise money for Susan G. Komen in my own community.  As for the food, I spend more time at the rink than in the kitchen, but I’m sure everyone will have a great time for an even greater cause.”

We all know what good the Susan G. Komen foundation does in the way of fighting breast cancer. Let’s go out, get some great food, and help a great cause! Spread the word!
