At the end of the day, with fellow Tampa Bay Lightning players Teddy Purcell and B.J. Crombeen, and everyone’s favorite former Bolt, Steve Downie by his side, Team Stamkos would reign victorious over Team Subban by a score of 14-10.

However, the REAL winners were the NHLPA’s Goals and Dreams fund and RBC Play Hockey, which funds grassroots hockey initiatives across the US and Canada.

The 39 NHL Players played for a sellout crowd of 2600 screaming fans, and raised $100k for charity.

According to a press release from Canada NewsWire, Team Stamkos Captain, and RBC Play Hockey Ambassador Steven Stamkos had this to say about the event.

The RBC Play Hockey Charity Challenge enabled us to share the joy and excitement of hockey with fans and celebrate the spirit of giving by raising funds for local hockey programs across the country.”
