Tampa Bay Lightning First Period Review

The first period is over already of the Tampa Bay Lightning at New Jersey Devils game. The first twenty minutes flew by practically uneventful. A scrap by Pierre-Cedric Labrie and Krystofer Barch accounted for two of three penalties dealt out, only one power play in the Lightning’s favor. One goal was scored, Nate Thompson netted it assisted by Cory Conacher and Ondrej Palat. The shots on goal are Tampa 4, New Jersey 9.
