Tampa Bay Lightning Third Period Review

Finally the Lightning break their losing streak in New Jersey. The third period was surely eventful with a second goal by Nate Thompson, assisted by Cory Conacher and Sami Salo. Adam Henrique got a short handed goal assisted by Ryan Carter. A power play goal by Patrik Elias assisted by Travis Zajac and Ilya Kovalchuk brought the Devils within two goals, making the score 4-2. B.J. Crombeen took advantage of the empty net, scoring his first goal of the season, assisted by Adam Hall and Nate Thompson. Only two penalties were dealt. The final score was 5-2 Lightning. The shots on goal for the third period were Bolts 11 Devils 13.
