The 2013 Stanley Cup Finals Are Set: Chicago Blackhawks to Face Off with the Boston Bruins in Game 1 on Wednesday

After a nail-biting game, complete with a double overtime and a Patrick Kane hat trick, the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals and set! The Chicago Blackhawks will go face to face with Zdeno Chara and the Boston Bruins in an original six, best-of-seven series set to start on Wednesday at the United Center in Chicago.

Due to their tremendous regular-season point total, the Western Conference Champion Blackhawks will have home ice advantage for the series.

NBC Broadcasting Family which includes the NBC Sports Network will have exclusive coverage of the Stanley Cup Finals here in the United States.

In Canada, CBC and RDS will televise the entire series.

Both the Blackhawks and the Bruins have had a game during the last series that went into double overtime. Both of those games were on by the Conference Champions. The yearly clash between the East and West will finally come to a head on Wednesday night in Chicago.

If the Eastern and Western Conference Championship Series are any indication of what we have in front of us, I can assure you of this…this is going to be one exciting, nail biting, hard hitting series between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Boston Bruins. Why? Because it’s the cup!
