Around the Twitterverse: Tweets of the Week from Around the Bolts Nation

We here at Bolts By The Bay would like to introduce to you our newest weekly feature, Around The Twitterverse.

In this new feature, we will take tweets from not just the team and the players, but from fans just like you. Fans in and around the Bolts Nation looking to show their Lightning pride.

It would seem that there are three main themes circulating this week.

The first of those is our Syracuse Crunch and their trek through the 2013 Calder Cup Finals. As many of you already know, this is the first time that the Crunch franchise has made it into the final round in their 19-year history.

Right now the Crunch are facing elimination, as they are currently down 3-1 in the series against the Grand Rapids Griffins, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings.

You would think that this would have the Bolts Nation down in the dumps, but the reality is quite the opposite. No matter what happens, I can assure you that those of us here in the Bolts Nation are still All In for the Syracuse Crunch.

Another hot topic circulating the internet is the Signing of Swiss forward Reto Suri to a one-year, two-way contract. Details on the signing and a look at his play  can be found here.

Last, but most certainly not least, Lightning fans are aflutter at the news of Tampa Bay Lightning RW Martin St. Louis winning his 3rd Lady Byng Award in the last 4 years. See all the details on that story here.

Without further delay, here are the Tweets of the Week from around the Bolts Nation.

I must say, I like a Coach with a ‘never say die’ attitude. Confidence is key when it gets down to Crunch time. (See what I did there.)

Tampa Bay Lightning season ticket member Beth Hunt traveled all the way to Grand Rapids to see our Syracuse Crunch take on the Grand Rapids Griffins in the Calder Cup Finals. Now that is some real dedication to your team.

Not matter what happens, fans like Meg Rey will always support the Syracuse Crunch.

Everyone I have heard seems to have good things to say about the Lightning’s newest acquisition Reto Suri.

Here is one of the first people to tweet about St. Louis’ Lady Byng win.

Here we have former Lightning correspondent Erin Andrews sharing her thoughts on Marty’s Lady Byng win.

I couldn’t agree more, Corey.
