Welcome back for week 2 of our newest feature, Around the Twitterverse!

There are a lot of things going on, not just here in Hockey Paradise, but around the world of hockey in general.

One of the biggest topics circulating in the Bolts Nation this week is the Syracuse Crunch. As most of you already know, the Crunch were defeated by the Grand Rapids Griffins in Game 6 of the 2013 Calder Cup Finals, thus ending their bid for the Cup this season.

One would normally think that doom and gloom would be the aura surrounding this unfortunate loss; however, it’s actually quite the opposite here in the Bolts Nation.

Soon after the buzzer sounded on the game, Crunch fans started to take to Twitter to show their support for their team.

I can’t tell you how much I agree with this statement from Mike Corcoran.

This season was the 20th anniversary of Tampa Bay Lightning hockey. Next year, it’s the Crunch’s turn.

I think I like his philosophy.

Another topic that is weighing heavily on everyone’s minds is the upcoming NHL Draft. Here are some of your tweets about who the Lightning will draft when June 30th rolls around.

That would be quite the pairing. That much firepower on one line would be really dangerous for the new division.

While that would be an absolutely amazing grab for the Lightning, I am not convinced that he is not going to be snagged by the Colorado Avalanche.
