2013 NHL Draft: Breaking It Down for the Tampa Bay Lightning

On June 30th, representatives from all 30 of the teams in the National Hockey League descended upon the Prudential Center in New Jersey, home of the New Jersey Devils, to take their pick from the top prospects in the entire league.

Everything these players have worked for has led them to this day.

From numbers 1 to 211, young players would hear their names be called, and would find out which city they would now call home.

Now a new journey lies before them, and for 6 of those young players, that journey begins right here in Tampa Bay.

Now, we’ll break down each of the selections made by the Tampa Bay Lightning and let you know what kind of impact these young hockey players can have on our organization.
