Around The Twitterverse: Tweets of the Week From Around the Bolts Nation

Welcome everyone, to another week of Around the Twitterverse, where we take a look at all the top tweets from around the Bolts Nation!

This week, Tampa Bay Lightning fans have been engulfed in the Lightning’s yearly Prospect Development Camp, which wrapped up on Wednesday with the conclusion of the 3 vs. 3 Tournament.

Congratulations, Team Stamkos!

The 2013 Tampa Bay Lightning Prospect Development Camp started with a bang on Saturday morning as fans packed the house at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon. Here, fans got their first look at some of the Lightning’s newest and brightest stars of the future, like the 3rd overall pick in this year’s NHL Draft, Jonathan Drouin, and the hard hitting Adam Erne.

They also got to see some old favorites like goaltender Andrey Vasilevskiy, Nikita Kucherov, and Slater Koekkoek.

So…without further delay, we bring you the Tweets of the Week From Around the Bolts Nation!

You might be biased, but you also may be right.

This would be that playmaking ability that I have been going on about.

I got the exact same impression on the first day of Camp.

He has a hard shot at that. I can’t wait to see him paired up with some of our main guys.

He is quite possibly one of the most underrated players I have seen in a long time. He doesn’t get near the credit he deserves.

I was impressed. I hope we see more of him soon.

He was definitely one of the strongest out there.

I was really impressed with Vasilevskiy. He gave a solid performance.

That was a wicked shot. Glass never stood a chance.

See what happens when you unleash a bunch of young hockey players on a mall at the same time. Shenanigans, I tell you!

That is just what we plan to do as well. Get ready for hockey season. Is it October yet?

After sitting back and watching Prospect Development Camp, I am more excited for the season than ever. Now, we sit back and anxiously await the start of Training Camp. By that time, we should have an idea who the next captain is going to be, and at least a pre-season schedule.

The off-season may be rough, but Bolts By The Bay will be here with you every step of the way to help you through the pain of hockey withdrawal.

Were you in attendance at this year’s Tampa Bay Lightning Prospect Development Camp? What were some of the high points you took away? Sound off in the comments below and let us know.
