Around the Twitterverse: Tweets of the Week From Around the Bolts Nation

Welcome back to this week’s addition of Around the Twitterverse, where we gather the top tweets from in and around the Bolts Nation and bring you all of the hockey news and opinion that 140 characters can handle.

The weekend is finally upon us!

I sincerely hope that we’ve got the hockey withdrawals under control, and have found some time to soak up the beautiful Florida sun.

If not, just keep telling yourself…we are only a Matt Taormina (55) away from the official start of Lightning hockey! Only 55 more days to go!

As usual, there are a lot of happenings in the world of hockey this week, so there is no time like the present to get down to business.

So, without further ado, I give to you this week’s Tweets of the Week From Around the Bolts Nation.

That is a pretty awesome little set up you have there. You have awesome taste in players if I do say so myself. Man, I miss Steve Downie.

I know how you feel, and trust me, I share the sentiment. However, it did exactly what they wanted it to do. #TBLightning was trending all over the place. Look at that as the light at the end of a very long tunnel.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I have been counting the days. Why does hockey season seem to fly by, but the off-season seems to last forever?

I think this is one of the best moves the organization could have made. Welcome to the team, Coach!

I really can’t wait to see what Koekkoek can do for the Bolts on the ice. I think he is going to make a great addition some day soon.

I am totally there with you. I have been ready for the new season since the final buzzer sounded on last season. I mean, do we really need an off-season?

I have been asking for the same thing. I am dying to get that first look at what our season is going to be like, and there is no place like Training Camp for that.

I am feeling a disturbance in the force here. I love Tyler Johnson, but that is Steve Downie’s number. *insert bitter rant here*

I just heard about that. I know exactly how you feel. I still can’t get rid of the bitterness I have from that trade. I love Tyler Johnson, but…you know what I mean.

Well, there you have it; you’re top tweets of the week from in and around the Bolts Nation. Make sure to check back with us next week to see what is going on during the last couple weeks of the off-season, or as I like to call it, the torture between hockey seasons.
