Tampa Bay Lightning to Hold Prospects Camp at the Tampa Bay Times Forum

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be holding a Prospects Camp on September 4th and 5th at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. There are 24 players scheduled to attend, including left wings Jonathan Drouin and Adam Erne, the Lightning’s top two selections from the 2013 NHL Draft.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the camp will include two practices; one at 12:30 p.m. on September 4th, and the other at 11:00 a.m. on September 5th. Both of these are free and open to the public.

You will see a lot of familiar faces from the Lightning’s Prospect Camp at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon.

Four of the Lightning’s six draft picks from this year’s draft will be at Camp. In addition to Drouin and Erne, you will also see left wing Henri Ikonen and goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis.

Joining them will be some of the members of the Lightning’s AHL affiliate Syracuse Crunch. Some of those include center Vladislav Namestnikov, right wing J.T. Brown, and defenseman Artem Sergeev.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to see the Lightning prospects in action again. They put on a good showing during the Prospect Development Camp earlier in the offseason, and with the addition of some new names to the mix, I think Lightning fans are in for a real treat.
