Tampa Bay Lightning Game Day Lineup

Tonight, Martin St. Louis and the rest of our Tampa Bay Lightning head into the BB&T Center in Sunrise to face off with our in-state rivals, Jonathan Huberdeau and the Florida Panthers for the third and final time during the preseason.

In the last two encounters we have had with the Panthers, they have taken us to the limit.

While we have been victorious so far, it would not be wise to underestimate our neighbors to the south.

Especially not with them adding some extra defense between the pipes with the acquisition of goaltender Tim Thomas.

Thanks to Erik Erlendsson at the Tampa Tribune, we now know who will be in the lineup on Saturday against the Panthers.

Forwards Defensemen Goaltenders
Jonathan Drouin Victor Hedman Anders Lindback
Steven Stamkos Sami Salo
Martin St. Louis Matt Carle
Alex Killorn Radko Gudas
Valtteri Filppula J.P. Cote
Teddy Purcell Andrej Sustr
Ondrej Palat
Tyler Johnson
Richard Panik
J.T. Brown
Brett Connolly
Nikita Kucherov

I can’t lie to you; I am excited to see some of these pairings on the ice. Just knowing that St. Louis, Stamkos, and Drouin are going to be on a line together makes my head explode.

There are still a few of players in tonight’s lineup that are fighting for those last few spots on the main roster, so this is their last opportunity to show Head Coach Jon Cooper what they are made of and just why they should be wearing Lightning blue when the season starts up on October 3rd.

Do you think this lineup has what it takes to grab the win in this last preseason matchup against the Panthers? Who do you think will come out on top as the standout Bolt of the Game? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think.
