Tonight, our Tampa Bay Lightning opens up the doors to the Tampa Bay Times Forum to host Thomas Vanek and the Buffalo Sabres in the final game of the Lightning’s seven-game home stand. The Sabres have been struggling lately, not only on the ice, but off it as well. I am sure that the Sabres will be just as hungry for their first regulation win this season.

The Lightning are coming off of a spectacular win in overtime against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The Bolts did a good job of handling the puck, keeping the pressure on, and were able to battle back when some would have given up.
Now, the Bolts are charged with the same mission against the Sabres. The Sabres may be down and out right now, but you can’t ever underestimate the underdog. If any team should understand that notion, it’s the Bolts.
The Lightning need to go into this encounter with the same intensity that they would if they were playing the Blackhawks or the Bruins. In order to do that, they are going to need one thing; their Thunder.
Are you ready, Bolts Nation? It’s time to BE THE THUNDER!
Puck drops at 7:00 p.m. All together now…LET’S GO LIGHTNING!!!
