I think I can honestly hear Lightning fans all around the Bolts Nation crying their eyes out today. In the spirit of Movember, Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas shaved his legendary beard.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen…you heard me correctly. Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas has indeed shaved his legendary beard. In exchange, we get a pretty sweet stache.

Don’t believe me? I guess the proof is in the picture.

Gudas is joining teammates like Nate Thompson, Ryan Malone, Teddy Purcell, and even Thunderbug in helping raise money and awareness for various men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and other health issues that negatively affect men.

Earlier today, Nate Thompson tweeted a picture of his sweet stache urging people to join his team to raise money for the community effort.

While I know that this is all for a wonderful cause, I can’t help but feel the need to mourn such an epic beard as Gudas used to rock.

I am sure that once Movember has come and gone, we will see Gudas’ epic beard once again.

What do you think of Gudas’ new look?
