The Tampa Bay Lightning are coming off a rather disappointing loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. While I would not venture to say that we played a “bad” game, the offense just couldn’t seem to get themselves in gear and able to put their foot on the gas.

This game will be of particular interest because Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop will be facing down his former teammates should he get the start between the pipes for the Bolts tonight. As many of you remember, the Tampa Bay Lightning traded rookie forward Cory Conacher for Bishop late last season.

This is going to be a tough game tonight. The Sens have some serious offensive firepower; especially since their points leader is a defenseman. There is nothing more dangerous than a defenseman who can play a good offensive game as well. This means that our defense is going to have to be just that much more on their game to prevent a play from happening in the defensive zone.

Are you ready to watch the Bolts kick some ice against the Senators tonight?

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. EST. Get ready Bolts Nation…it’s time to Be The Thunder!!
