The Tampa Bay Lightning suffered a disappointing shootout loss on Thursday night against the New York Islanders. It was not that the team played what could be considered a bad game; however, there were a few mistakes that cost us in the end.

It is time to put that behind us and put our eyes on the prize. The Sharks are one of the top teams in the Western Conference. Currently, they are second place in the Pacific Division, topped only by the Anaheim Ducks.

This is definitely going to be a challenge for the Bolts, but if there is anything that the Lightning has proven this season, it is that they do not back down from a challenge.

If you are heading out to the game today, don’t forget to leave a little early. Traffic is going to be insane with the Gasparilla festivities going on downtown.

The puck drops at 2:00 p.m. EST. Get ready Bolts Nation…it’s time to Be The Thunder!!
