The Tampa Bay Lightning has been full of ups and downs for the Bolts Nation. First, Steven Stamkos was hoping for a return this Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings. Then, he receives news that not only will he not be able to return this weekend against the Wings, but he will be forced to miss the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Now, we are back on an upswing as Tampa Bay Lightning captain Martin St. Louis was named as Stamkos’ replacement on Team Canada.

However, the Bolts are going to have to put all of that aside and keep their focus on the ice tonight.

The Bolts are currently 3 points ahead of the Maple Leafs in the Atlantic Division, so tonight’s game is going to be an important one for the boys in blue.

In order for them to come out on top tonight, they are going to have to be aggressive, focused, and dominant over the puck. These are all things that we know the Lightning can accomplish when they work together as a team. So, with only two more games until the Olympic Break, it is time to put their sticks to the ice and finish this run strong.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. EST. Get ready Bolts Nation…it’s time to Be The Thunder!!
