Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to today’s edition of Back of the Net where we take you through all the latest and greatest news and updates from in and around the Bolts Nation, and the world of hockey.

The time has come, ladies and gentlemen of the Bolts Nation. The Semifinal Round of the Men’s Hockey Competition at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia is finally set! We still have two players competing for the Gold Medal; Tampa Bay Lightning captain Martin St. Louis and Team Canada, and Lightning defenseman Sami Salo and Team Finland.

The competition doesn’t get started once again until Friday morning, so while we wait, let’s take a look at what else is going on around the National Hockey League, and the Olympics, today.
