Things are starting to heat up in the Men’s Hockey Competition at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. Today starts the Quarterfinal Round, which means that we are in a single game elimination round.
In this encounter, the number seven seed will be taking on the number two seed. This means that Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas and Lightning left wing Ondrej Palat along with Team Czech Republic will be going head to head with Chicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane and Team USA.
The winner of the encounter will move on to the next round to face the winner of the Team Canada vs. Team Latvia game.
