Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop will have a different look next season when he debuts his brand new goaltending mask.

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop may have had his 2013-14 cut short by an incredibly unfortunate injury; however, that doesn’t stop the Lightning netminder from looking forward to the next season.

While it will still be quite some time before the 6’7” Lightning netminder is ready to take his place between the pipes once again, he is still making steps to be ready for the next season.

Yesterday, the Tampa Bay Lightning, along with Head Strong Grafx, debuted the brand new goaltending mask that Number 30 will be donning next season.

As you can see, his new helmet sports the Lightning logo on the side with the traditional Tampa Bay written on top of the logo. The lower guard sports a jersey like design with his name and number emblazoned on it.

While I personally wish there was a little more blue and a little less white on it, the mask still has a pretty cool design.

The real question here is, what do you think of Ben Bishop’s new mask? Do you love it, like it, just plain hate it, or somewhere in between? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
