No one in the National Hockey League has ever accused Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos of being a bad shot. In fact, Stamkos is quite the opposite.

Stamkos is arguably one of the most deadly shots in the entire National Hockey League.
He has won the Maurice ‘Rocket’ Richard Trophy on two separate occasions; once in 2010 and again in 2012, posted multiple 90+ point seasons, which include a 60 goal season in the 2011-12 season.
As most of you know, that 60 goal game in the 2011-12 season is a franchise record here in Hockey Paradise.
Now, a video has emerged on the internet that shows just how deadly Steven Stamkos’ shot really is.
In the video, which you can see below, Steven Stamkos comes in for a shot on the net when the puck lands directly on a Powerade bottle placed on top of the net. I think it is safe to say that after its meeting with Stamkos’ puck, that bottle had seen better days.

Now, obviously, being that this was posted by the people over at Powerade from a photo shoot Stamkos was doing for the company, this was not just some random incident; however, that speaks volumes for Stamkos’ accuracy and all around skill.
