Tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning open the doors to the Amalie Arena to play host to their in-state rival, the Florida Panthers, in the fifth game of their six-game home stand that finishes off on Thursday night against the Nashville Predators.

The Bolts are ultimately playing for positioning in the post season at this point in the season, but that doesn’t make any of the available points in front of them any less valuable. Now that the 2014-15 season is quickly coming to a close, there are teams (mostly those with no hopes of post season play) have turned their attention to the 2015 NHL Draft. There are a number of players who will be vying to be the Number One Overall Pick. The most easily recognizable of those names is Connor McDavid, but there is another name we may hear on the big day; Jack Eichel. Veteran right wing Ilya Kovalchuk spent 11 seasons in the National Hockey League before he decided to exile himself back to Russia and the Kontinental Hockey League. Now, just two seasons later it seems as if he is contemplating a return to the National Hockey League. The question now becomes where would he fit in after being gone for so long?
