As the Tampa Bay Lightning prepare for their final game of the regular season, we take a look at some of the Top Headlines around the National Hockey League.

The Tampa Bay Lightning has played the first of two games that make up their final home stand of the regular season. Now that they have acquired an overtime win over the New Jersey Devils, the only obstacle between them and the post season is the Boston Bruins.

Unless you have been living under an inordinately large rock for the past few years, you know that there is quite a history between the Bruins and the Lightning that strikes to the very hearts of those of us here in the Bolts Nation; especially the fans.

You can bet your bottom dollar that this is going to be an intense game filled to the brim with physicality, high-octane speed, and some pretty hard hits. The Lightning will certainly have their work cut out for them, but if there is anyone who can get the job done, it is our Tampa Bay Lightning.

While we wait for all the action to kick off tomorrow night, let’s take a look at some of the Top Headlines not only here in the Bolts Nation, but around the National Hockey League as well.

As you already know, the Tampa Bay Lightning plays their final game of the regular season on Saturday night against the Boston Bruins. As usual, the Lightning has something special planned for their fans before, during, and after the game. The same night that the Tampa Bay Lightning face off with the Boston Bruins in their final game of the season, the Syracuse Crunch will have a matchup of their own. On Saturday night, the Syracuse Crunch will be taking on the Springfield Falcons. Much like the Lightning, this will be a special night for the Crunch has well. If the Bolts want to head into the post season on a high note, they are going to have to remain focused, capitalize on their opportunities and send the Bruins packing for their golf course vacation.
