The Tampa Bay Lightning head deep into Predators territory to do battle with captain Shea Weber and the Nashville Predators at the Bridgestone Arena.

The Tampa Bay Lightning certainly have their work cut out for them tonight as they head out on a four game road trip that kicks off tonight at the Bridgestone Arena as the Lightning prepare to do battle with captain Shea Weber and the Nashville Predators.

The Predators are one of those teams who seem to always have the number of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Nashville Predators were successful in both meetings with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2014-15 season. Unfortunately for the Lightning, the Predators success over the Bolts followed them into the 2015-16 preseason as the Preds took both preseason encounters against the Bolts as well.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without defenseman Nikita Nesterov. As most of you know by now, Nesterov will be serving his second game of his two-game suspension for boarding Dallas Stars left wing Curtis McKenzie on October 15th.

On the bright side, the Tampa Bay Lightning may be getting back a significant part of their defensive line tonight in Nashville. Given the fact the Tampa Bay Lightning has reassigned defenseman Slater Koekkoek to the Syracuse Crunch, there seems to be a good chance we will see Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman return to the ice tonight for the first time since sustaining an undisclosed injury on Thursday night against the Stars.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will need to bring their “A” game tonight if they want to contain the Predators’ offense. A player in particular the Bolts should keep their eyes on is Nashville Predators right wing James Neal. In the Predators’ Saturday night matchup with the Ottawa Senators, Neal was able to score two of the Predators’ four goals, both of which came on the Power Play.

We all know the Tampa Bay Lightning have all the firepower they need to overcome a team like the Predators. There are a few obstacles to overcome, but if there is any team in the National Hockey League who can get the job done, it’s our Boys in Blue.

While we wait for all the action to get started tonight, here is a look at all the information you’ll need to make sure you don’t miss a moment of the action tonight as the Tampa Bay Lightning look to declaw the Predators and start their four-game road trip off right.
