All the biggest and brightest stars in the National Hockey League make their way to Music City to take part in the 2016 NHL All-Star Game, which kicks off with the skills competition.

The moment many hockey fans have been waiting all season long is finally upon us. All of the biggest and brightest stars from every division in the National Hockey League are headed to Music City to take part in the 2016 NHL All-Star Game. Tonight, the festivities on the ice kick into full gear with the 2016 NHL All-Star Game Skills Competition.

As most of you know by now, the Tampa Bay Lightning has two players representing Hockey Paradise at the NHL All-Star Game this year. Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos along with Lightning netminder Ben Bishop will be taking the ice and bringing some of their electricity to the yearly event. This will be the fourth trip to the All-Star Game for Stamkos. On the other hand, it will be the first-ever appearance for Ben Bishop.

Steven Stamkos will be taking part in a number of activities including the Gatorade NHL Skills Challenge Relay, the AMP Energy NHL Hardest Shot competition, as well as the Discover NHL Shootout. Ben Bishop will be participating in the NHL Skills Challenge Relay.

While the NHL All-Star Game Skills Competition is not quite as fast-paced as the All-Star Game itself, it is a great opportunity for the players to really let loose and show the rest of the league and all of their fans what they can really do. It really makes for an exciting and entertaining time, and the perfect segue in the All-Star Game itself.

As we sit back and anxiously wait for the festivities to kick off, let’s take a closer look at all the information you’ll need to make sure you don’t miss a single moment of the action from Nashville in the 2016 NHL All-Star Game Skills Competition.
