I became a hockey fan in 1989 when I visited my uncle in Ottawa. Two guys in line behind me were talking about how good Patrick Roy was, so I watched a Habs game. I was sold on hockey then and there. Then, in 1992, Tampa got a team of its own. I was there when Kontos netted four on opening night. I saw a couple of our first playoff series against Philly. I was there through the shame of Koksukai Green and Art Williams. I was there screaming when we won it all in '04. I remained a fan when Koules and company ran the team into the ground. Now, I live 1,000 miles from the Ice Palace, but my wife and I catch Bolts games at our favorite bar. We bleed electric blue!
