Mia's the eldest of the Bolts By The Bay clan, hoping to turn the big "Lordy, Lordy, Look Who's 40" this year. She has multiple college degrees: psychology, animal behavior (ethology)and physiology/bioscience to name three. She's attended several colleges/universities such as John Hopkin's and Towson University. Her travels have been far and wide, but her true love has, is and will always be the NHL. She attended her first NHL game before the age of two, but grew up in Northeastern, MD where folks don't care much for talk of hockey. She has been paid to train & develop people who carry weapons and to take photos and videos of anything from freshly hatched sea turtles making their way to the ocean to high-profile events like NFL games. Her work as experience includes managemet, technology, administration and whatever else people are willing to pay her to do, including consult with goalies. Currently, Mia is homeless. Gasp, yes, homeless. She is, however, quite resourceful and loves her some Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey, so she now writes about them for free and since she herself is a natural born goalie having been an athelete since childhood and is as some say "goalie weird", she would probably even pay to write about the Bolts.
To Mia, there is no love like hockey love. You can find out more by visiting her main personal blog at http://singingfromthecrease.wordpress.com. Also, she is some sort of music fanatic and quite musical herself. If you want to hear her sing you can find the link on her personal blogs or try to invade her space when she's womanning a net (she's old and has broken many bones, so you'll probably score). So far, Mia has given the old "screw you" to cancer twice and hope to keep on keepin' on for a bit.
