Tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning are finally coming home to the Tampa Bay Times Forum for the first time since starting their four game road trip through the Western Conference.
To say that the trip did not go as we would have hoped could be a bit of an understatement, but there is a bright side to all of this. The first, and most important, of which is that we did not come home empty handed. Even though we suffered a heartbreaking loss against Anaheim in the final seconds of the game on Friday night, we did come home with one out of the two points.
Also, while we seemed to struggle in the beginning of the trip, by the end of the road trip, the Lightning had found their groove and were really starting to work together as a team again.
If they can keep that going tonight, then we there is a good chance we can bring home the two points tonight.
