On Sunday night, the Lightning got off to a pretty rocky start against Erik Karlsson and the Ottawa Senators, but they were able to get it together in the second period and battle back for a 4-2 win over the Senators.
There are still plenty of issues that need to be addressed, but if there is any team in the National Hockey League that has become accustomed to overcoming adversity and persevering, it is the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Unfortunately, when the Bolts charge into the Bell Centre they will be without one of the players who make a hard hitting impact on the ice. Defenseman Radko Gudas will be forced to miss a currently undetermined amount of time after knee surgery. This means we will get another look at Syracuse Crunch defenseman Nikita Nesterov, who has been recalled in light of Gudas’ injury.
I know we have said this a million times before, and we’ll say it one more time; the Lightning to have everything at their disposal necessary to get the job done.
If the Lightning can get a better handle on their special teams and find the offensive pressure that has so greatly eluded them quite a few games as of late, this should be an interesting matchup.
Here’s a look at the information you’ll need to make sure you don’t miss a moment of the action tonight as the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.
