Tampa Bay Lightning Get ‘Close’ In New Commercial (Video)
The Tampa Bay Lightning illustrate how the community and team have come together in their latest commercial for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
If there is anything that can be said about the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2014-15 season, it was this young team showed the heart and determination to win necessary to prove all of their detractors wrong. They overcame the odds and went on to become the Eastern Conference Champions.
Anyone here in the Bolts Nation who was around to watch as the postseason played out know what kind of impact this had on the Tampa Bay community. As the series charged on and the Tampa Bay Lightning continued to come out on top, more and more people were venturing out to see what all the excitement was about.
When it came time for the Stanley Cup Finals, the Watch Parties were pulling in thousands of people. In fact, the Bolts Nation came together for one night and was able to fill the Amalie Arena as fans sat back and watched the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Chicago Blackhawks.
There has definitely been a change in the tide here in Tampa Bay. As the season quickly approaches, you can already feel the community starting to come together with one singular purpose…to cheer on the Tampa Bay Lightning as they attempt to electrocute the other 29 teams in the National Hockey League and make their way back to the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Tampa Bay Lightning recently released a new commercial for their upcoming season, and we feel like it perfectly illustrates the way things have changed here in the Bolts Nation and just how close not only the team, but the fans as well, have become.
The wait is almost over and the Lightning are almost ready to hit the ice for the first time in the 2015-16 season. In fact, we are just a mere 14 days away from the moment when Bolts fans will flood the Amalie Arena for the Tampa Bay Lightning Home Opener.
At the end of the day, there is one thing we are certain of. We are ready for Lightning Hockey to begin, and we can’t wait to see what kind of rollercoaster ride we will be in for this season. Are you ready to Be The Thunder once again?
