Tampa Bay Lightning Vs. Boston Bruins: Live Stream, TV Info, And More

The Tampa Bay Lightning seek some redemption as they host the Boston Bruins at the Amalie Arena before heading off on a four-game road trip.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are about to embark on another four-game road trip, this time consisting of many Atlantic Division rivals. Before heading out on the road, there is just one more task the Tampa Bay Lightning need to handle. This would be the matter of facing off with captain Zdeno Chara and the Boston Bruins on the spookiest night of all, Halloween Night.

The Tampa Bay Lightning has seen their fair share of troubles in the last few games. Thursday night’s 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche marked the first time since the beginning of the 2014-15 season where the Lightning has lost more than two games in a row. On the bright side, the Lightning were able to break a two game scoring slump with a Power Play Goal from Alex Killorn.

There is both and upside and a downside to tonight’s encounter. In the interests of finishing off this topic on a high note, we’ll start with the downside. The downside is that the Tampa Bay Lightning seem to be plagued by the injury bug this season. The Lightning are already without the assistance of center Cedric Paquette and left wing Jonathan Drouin being day-to-day with a Lower Body Injury.

On top of all of this, it was announced yesterday that Tampa Bay Lightning center Tyler Johnson was questionable for Saturday’s Halloween matchup with the Boston Bruins. Out of all the names that could possibly be announced as held back by some sort of injury, Johnson’s is not a name one wants to hear.

The upside to this whole situation is that the Bruins will be entering tonight’s contest under the very same conditions the Tampa Bay Lightning were under when they faced off with the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on October 24th. When the Bruins come calling at the doors of the Amalie Arena, they will be on the back half of a back-to-back weekend series.

The Tampa Bay Lightning roster is filled with talented players who have what it takes to compete on the highest levels of the National Hockey League. If they can manage to find the groove they comfortably fell into towards the end of last season, the Lightning could quickly become one of the most dominant teams in the league. As the old saying goes, the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

If you’re not one of the lucky people making their way to the Amalie Arena to watch the game in person tonight, here is a look at all the information you’ll need to make sure you don’t miss out on a moment of the action.
