The Tampa Bay Lightning open the doors to the Amalie Arena to take on Atlantic Division rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs in the final game before the All-Star Break.

The Tampa Bay Lightning had a seven-game win streak under their belts when they marched into Sunrise on Saturday night. Unfortunately, after seemingly misplacing the mojo the Lightning had found over the course of the last couple of games, had their win streak snapped by the Atlantic Division-leading Florida Panthers.

Tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning has an opportunity to get back on track and right the ship prior to the NHL All-Star Break. Later tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning will open the doors to the Amalie Arena in order to take on captain Dion Phaneuf and the Toronto Maple Leafs in an Atlantic Division showdown that could very well determine the course the Lightning set upon after the 2016 All-Star Game.

This is the second time these two teams have met in the center of the ice this season. The Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs first met on December 15th when an early overtime goal by Lightning center Vladislav Namestnikov edged out the Maple Leafs in a 5-4 Lightning overtime victory.

The Tampa Bay Lightning certainly have everything it takes to get the job done. This was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt on January 21st when the Tampa Bay Lightning snapped the 12-game winning streak of the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks in a 2-1 victory.

If the Tampa Bay Lightning can set aside the negativity from Saturday night’s game against the Florida Panthers and concentrate on the task at hand, the Lightning could very well find themselves in a comfortable position to take on the Panthers for the first place in the Atlantic Division.

While we anxiously await puck drop later tonight, let’s take a closer look at all the information fans need to make sure they don’t miss a moment of the action tonight between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
