The Tampa Bay Lightning gets back down to business tonight as they charge into the PNC Arena to finish off their back-to-back weekend against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Tampa Bay Lightning has certainly taken fans on a rollercoaster ride over the course of the last week. From the highest highs to some of the lowest lows, the Bolts Nation has seen it all as of late. On Saturday afternoon, Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos scored his 300th career goal as the Lightning dropped the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately, the Tampa Bay Lightning doesn’t have the time to celebrate their season sweep of the Penguins. Tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning get right back down to business as they charge into the PNC Arena in Raleigh to do battle with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Tonight’s encounter will most certainly be an intense game. Both the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Carolina Hurricanes are battling for a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Tampa Bay Lightning are in a slightly better position than the Canes, which gives them that much more to lose in tonight’s encounter.

One of the biggest keys to a Lightning victory tonight in Raleigh will be consistency. The Lightning need to strike first and hit hard. They need to be consistent for a whole 60 minutes of hockey, and they need to seal some of the holes they have been experiencing on their special teams as of late.

The good news here is the Lightning are just as aware of the issues they are experiencing as the fans are. You can bet your bottom dollar they are coming into tonight’s encounter with a plan and will do everything in their power to finish off this back-to-back on a high note. If tonight’s encounter is anything like yesterday’s battle with the Penguins, it is going to be an intense and rather hard-hitting game.

While everyone awaits puck drop later tonight, let’s take a closer look at all the information you’ll need to make sure you don’t miss a single moment of the action between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Carolina Hurricanes tonight from the PNC Arena in Raleigh.
