NHL 17: Nikita Kucherov Ranked 9th Best Right Winger
EA Sports has recently released the ratings of the Top 10 Right Wingers in NHL 17 and Tampa Bay Lightning RW Nikita Kucherov earned the 9th spot.
Another Tampa Bay Lightning player has found himself on the Top 10 list in NHL 17 for his position. Taking the 9th spot among right wingers, Nikita Kucherov becomes the next Lightning player to make a position specific list.
Coming off of his first 30 goal season, Kucherov proved especially valuable to the Lightning’s offense. His offensive presence was especially noticeable during the beginning of the Stanley Cup Playoffs when the Bolt’s captain Steven Stamkos was out after a successful surgery to remove a blood clot.
During this time, he recorded 19 points including 11 goals. Kucherov received an 88 overall rating and EA Sports cited his accurate wrist shot and speed for his high rating and spot on the Top 10 list.

Like Hedman’s rating, I agree with Kucherov’ position on the list. While he is an incredibly talented player, last season was his first season of big numbers comparable to the bigger names of the league.
I think Nikita Kucherov will rocket up the ratings in years to come and eventually maybe even take home the number one spot.
At only 23 years old, Kucherov is just entering his prime, and looking back at his recent seasons, there are rightfully big expectations for him in the coming seasons.

There is always a chance things could change over the course of the season as the rankings are updated. The biggest question for Tampa Bay Lightning fans is whether or not Nikita Kucherov will be wearing a Lightning jersey in the 2016-17 season. Only time will tell how this one plays out.
