Tampa Bay Lightning forward J.T. Brown is now live-streaming himself and friends playing video games together on the popular live streaming website, Twitch.
The Bolts’ J.T. Brown has picked up a new hobby over the offseason. Recently, he has started live-streaming himself playing video games with friends on the streaming service Twitch. For those that don’t know about Twitch, it’s a streaming service in which people are able to play video games and users are able to watch live. If you weren’t able to catch the stream live, some videos are also stored on the site and are available to watch at any time. You can find Brown’s channel here.
Brown already has over 1,000 followers on Twitch and streams regularly. Currently, the Tampa Bay forward has only streamed Battlefield 1 and NHL 17. It wouldn’t be surprising, however, if he began to play more games as his channel gets bigger. He’s talked about Ghost Recon: Wildlands and many of the installments in the Call Of Duty franchise during his streams. Apparently, he’s a diverse gamer.
His new Twitch channel makes Brown more accessible and gives fans an opportunity to interact with him. He frequently responds to questions and comments in the chat and has even agreed to give away a custom controller to a random audience member if the stream has 500 live viewers at any given time.
While he plays, J.T. chats with his friends about life, hockey, and anything else that comes up. It’s a great way to get to know J.T. and interact with one of the Lightning’s players.
He’s actually not too bad at Battlefield 1 either.
