Stanley Cup Playoffs 2019: Tampa Bay Lightning First Round schedule released

The Tampa Bay Lightning will face the Columbus Blue Jackets in the First Round of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. All the action kicks off on Wednesday night at the Amalie Arena.

The Tampa Bay Lightning has certainly had a fantastic season! As the season progressed, it seemed as if the team and its players were breaking records every other night. It’s almost crazy to think the journey is far from over as we’re entering the second week of April.

The Lightning captured the Triple Crown this season, which consists of the Atlantic Division Championship, the First-Place spot in the Eastern Conference, and the Presidents’ Trophy. These are outstanding accomplishments, to say the least, but in a matter of days, all of these accomplishments quietly fade to the background and everything starts anew.

We now know the Tampa Bay Lightning will do battle with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the First Round of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. On Sunday morning, the National Hockey League officially released the schedule for this exciting series.

The action will kick off on Wednesday, April 10 at the Amalie Arena in beautiful Downtown Tampa. As the Lightning has clearly earned home-ice advantage throughout the postseason, the Bolts Nation will have the opportunity to witness a good portion of the action in person.

The Tampa Bay Lightning has dominated the National Hockey League for much of the 2018-19 season. Needless to say, all eyes are going to be on the Bolts Nation as the playoffs progress. The Bolts will have to bring their ‘A’ game each and every night if they want to control the narrative here.
