The Tampa Bay Lightning dropped a video via their social media giving people insights into the players that were “mic’d up” during games in round two that saw the Lightning beat the Bruins in five games.

Though there were plenty more to share – such a Pat Maroon’s “I need to get in a cold tub, boys” from post game clips throughout the series, this is a fun little video that shows the excitement by the players following some pivotal goals – most notably, the two goals scored in a sixteen second span between Ondrej Palat and Yanni Gourde.

Another favorite of mine was Blake Coleman tuning his head and smiling following a check and simply saying “All night, baby.”

The Lightning also sent out their latest episode of “Recharge” – a YouTube video series chronicling their time in the NHL postseason bubble. It takes you through the Bruins series with up close looks at the on ice play, the bench, the locker room, and interviews with players and coaches.

A big focus on this episode is rewinding the clock to the Coleman and Barclay Goodrow trades that helped shape the team to what they are now – and highlights how important those guys were in the Lightning’s ability to sent the President’s Trophy winners home after the second round.

The Lightning will find out their opponent for the Eastern Conference Finals tonight as the New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers play game seven. The Flyers are coming off back-to-back overtime wins to extend the series to seven after seeing themselves down 3-1. You can check out the preview of that game here.

The Eastern Conference Finals will begin Monday in Edmonton while the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights will kick off on Sunday.
