Since the Lightning’s first regular-season game in 1992, Major League Baseball’s expansion has been the smallest as just four teams to the league. This doesn’t necessarily mean that baseball isn’t popular or profitable, baseball is rich in history, and league officials have tried to keep the league grounded without much change- which is very respectable.
