Look Ahead to April

It is the final month of the season. No more next month or next game this season if the Syracuse Crunch are not in one of the top 5 positions of the North Division after they play their final regular season game against the Laval Rocket on April 30th.

Of the Crunch’s final 15 games, only one of them is against Rochester or Belleville – the one being against Belleville. They’ll face Utica and Laval twice, and Toronto once. Additionally, they have two games each against the Providence Bruins and Springfield Thunderbirds – the top teams in the Atlantic Division.

This is not an easy schedule for the Crunch to finish their season, but they have been playing on top of their game lately and have the added luxury of Riley Nash to help power them through some of these tougher games.

If the Crunch want to continue coach Ben Groulx’s record of making the playoffs in each season he’s been behind the bench with the team, then they will need to dig in and gut out some wins over the upcoming month.
