In the midst of a 3-game skid, the Tampa Bay Lightning (42-25-6) visit another Atlantic division rival in the Boston Bruins (55-11-5) today at 1:00 p.m. ET. FanDuel lists Tampa Bay as +140 underdogs with an over/under of 5.5 goals.

The Lightning have found themselves in a bit of a rut at the moment having dropped the last three games. The latest loss came Thursday against the Ottawa Senators in a 7-2 beatdown. Ottawa looked like a team on a mission as they fight for a playoff spot and they showed it against the Bolts in an overwhelming rout. Alex DeBrincat and Brady Tkachuk each scored twice to aid the Senators’ victory  as the Lightning have now been outscored 15-6 during their losing streak. Brayden Point and Mikhail Sergachev were the goal scorers in the contest, but the Bolts will likely need more than that when they clash with the league’s best team today.

Boston has seemingly been red-hot all season long, especially having already clinched their postseason berth alongside the Carolina Hurricanes. The Bruins come into this game riding a five-game win streak having scored 21 total goals over that span and posting two shutouts. They also claim the best home record in the league, going 29-3-3 in Boston so far this season, making them an extreme challenge for any road team. Right winger David Pastrnak has been incredible over the past 10 games for the Bruins, tallying six goals and six assists. He will be a main weapon the Bolts will need to keep in check.

This is the fourth and final game of the season series for these two teams, as Tampa Bay was able to claim a victory in the most recent game following two wins for the Bruins back in November. The Lightning posted a 3-2 win on January 26th in Tampa thanks to three assists from Nikita Kucherov, a late go-ahead goal from Victor Hedman and a sensational performance in net from Andrei Vasilevskiy. The Bolts go for the season series tie today.

INJURIES: No injuries for the Lightning.

Bruins left wingers Nick Foligno, Taylor Hall, and Matt Filipe along with D Derek Forbort are all out.
