The Tampa Bay Lightning finally return home to the Amalie Arena tonight after a four-game road trip through the Western Conference in order to face off with yet another Western Conference opponent, the Colorado Avalanche.
It almost goes without saying the Tampa Bay Lightning has seen their fair share of woes in the past four games. While they did return home from their four-game road trip with at least four of the possible eight points they could have obtained, they were also held scoreless for six straight periods of hockey. This is definitely disheartening for a team who is so utterly jam-packed with talented offensive firepower.
