Today, during the second intermission of the 2014 Bridgestone Winter Classic, USA Hockey announced the official roster for the 2014 Team USA Women’s Hockey Team that will represent the United States of America at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
There are a lot of familiar names on that roster.
One of those names is Julie Chu. Chu has three Olympic Medals to her name with the US Women’s Team; the first is a bronze medal in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City. The next is a Bronze Medal at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, and most recently, the Silver Medal from the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
The captain of the team is going to be Meghan Duggan. She is a forward who, along with Julie Chu, represented Team USA in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
